Collecting Art with Daniel Chadwick
Artist Daniel Chadwick invites us into the romantic Cotswolds manor house where his own works blend harmoniously with those of his father, the revered sculptor Lynn Chadwick. Daniel Chadwick’s father, the semi-abstract sculptor Lynn Chadwick, purchased Lypiatt Park in Gloucestershire, in the southwest of England, in 1959. ‘This place was the same price as a three-bedroom house… and nobody wanted it,’ said Lynn of the medieval manor house, added to significantly in the 19th century, but which was first recorded in 1220. ‘When my father came here, he wanted no detail to take away attention from looking at the sculpture,’ says his son, Lypiatt Park’s current owner. ‘As a child we were armed with paintbrushes. My mother had a paintbrush, my father had one, and they did it themselves. Just painting it all white, you don’t lose the detail — it somehow just takes it away from being in your face.’ The house and gardens are home to some 60 or 70 imposing works by Lynn Chadwick, which in many instances have been paired with Daniel’s own pieces. ‘Mine are little bit more lyrical and airy, a bit more like thoughts, above. His works are sort of heavy and powerful and grounded. I think they look good together.’ Find out more: http://bit.ly/2DZ0Nwz -- Subscribe to Christie's YouTube: http://goo.gl/Vmh7Hf Sign up to Christie's Weekly: https://goo.gl/kc8qpV Follow Christie's on: Facebook: http://bit.ly/2elC9Zg Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChristiesInc Instagram: http://bit.ly/2iJ3lGm Pinterest: http://bit.ly/2elCafM

Pro Tips: Why Waxing Your Car Is A MUST! - Chemical Guys
Nick demonstrates why waxing a car is one of the most important steps when detailing a car. Wax makes a car look shinier and prettier, but also helps seal and protect the paint from contamination, pollution, dirt, dust, water, and more. Car wax not only enhances shine but also repels harsh elements, preserving a factory finish. The pores of the paint are left exposed to contamination and it needs the protection of wax or sealants to prevent oxidation and rapid accumulation of contamination. •/•/•/•/• Products Used in Today's Video •\•\•\•\•\•\•\•\•\• ➜ Diablo Wheel Gel: http://bit.ly/2Mm31bB ➜ Signature Series Wheel Cleaner: http://bit.ly/2bc2Ujw ➜ Extreme Body Wash & Wax: http://bit.ly/2UAD5fu ➜ Dirt Trap Bucket Insert: http://bit.ly/2uJDljt ➜ Woolly Mammoth Drying Towel: http://bit.ly/2xsRoua ➜ XXX Hardcore Paste Wax: http://bit.ly/1VYonvI • •• •• •• •• •• •• •• •• •• • ● Website: www.ChemicalGuys.com ● Subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=chemicalguys ● Subscribe to our newsletter: http://bit.ly/2vjCz9T ● Like Us on Facebook: http://bit.ly/2uJzRxo ● Follow us on Instagram: http://bit.ly/2vjwfPB
