"Detail Proof" Challenger Movie Car - Director's Cut Detail

Chemical Guys are no strangers to iconic cars, but this 1971 Dodge Challenger had us star-struck for a bit. Quentin Tarantino had Kurt Russell perform dangerous stunts in Deathproof and the car suffered from it. Nick goes into full detail on what you can and cannot do on a car that has seen this much carnage. A lot of the aspects on this Challenger have been staged to appear worse than it actually is so we don't want to wash off any of that movie magic, just like an actor/actress removing their makeup. As you all can see, this Dodge Challenger has gone through some very intense stunts that caused it to get all its bumps and bruises. We've tried polishing but those scratches were just too much...kidding! This is a famous show car that has undeniable value to those who are dedicated Deathproof fans and fans of classic cars in general. Nick decided against a foam wash because getting foam on rustic areas will heighten it's brown color and dullness. We aren't sure of the integrity of the window seals so we don't want to risk it getting wet. A quick detail spray like Speed Wipe will do the trick to get rid of all the dust and fingerprints it got from curious onlookers. By using Speed Wipe, he's using the anti-static technology it contains to reduce static cling so that dust doesn't stick to the paint as easily. As it sits at the next museum, it will stay looking dust-free with an elegant shine as spectators gawk at such a classic gem. You never know what car will drive up to the Detail Garage next. Learn how to detail you car and obtaining the best DIY detailing tips to make sure your car looks just as good as ours. Do yourself a favor; grab your favorite microfiber towel and your favorite quick detail spray and get to shining! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Speed Wipe - http://ift.tt/2yFfsuf Workhorse Green Professional Grade Microfiber Towel - http://ift.tt/2fyXkve •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ● Website: www.ChemicalGuys.com ● Subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_... ● Subscribe to our newsletter: http://ift.tt/2jS6ww4... ● Like Us on Facebook: http://ift.tt/2xtBVcJ... ● Follow us on Instagram: http://ift.tt/2vjwfPB
