First Wash in 6 months For First Responder! - How To GENTLY Wash Your New Ride Scratch-Free

In this video, we take on the challenge of washing a 2022 Ford Raptor Pickup Truck that belongs to a local firefighter who hasn't washed it in six months! The owner knew the majority of scratches & swirls that occur on paint is due to improper washing, and was afraid to clean it without our help, so it was in dire need of a thorough cleaning to restore its shine and maintain its appearance. We wanted to show the owner and others watching this video how to properly take care of their vehicles the most sensitive way, even if they haven't washed them in a long time. To accomplish this, we used Chemical Guys Black Light Auto Soap in conjunction with the two bucket method, dirt traps, and Happy Ending Microfiber Towels to complete the wash. We also used TORQ Snubby and ProFlow PM2000 for rinsing, and Woolly Mammoth Towels coupled with After Wash Drying Aid to dry the truck. We knew that the wheels would require extra attention, so we used Sticky Citrus Wheel Gel and Tire & Rubber Cleaner to break down any tough dirt and grime that had accumulated. We then coated the wheels with VRP to provide a protective layer that would help prevent any future damage.
