Speed Up Your Detailing Process! - Part 2: Polishing - Chemical Guys

Are you short on time, but want to polish and protect your ride to diminish scratches and swirls? In this video, Joey will break down different methods and tips on how to speed up your polishing process. Scratches and swirls deceive the look of your vehicle and polishing can be time-consuming, but by following these polishing tips your polishing step will fast and effective. First, we recommend using a one-step polish such as VSS Scratch & Swirl Remover, it is an easy-to-use polish that cuts strong to quickly remove swirls, scratches, and defects then finishes like a fine polish to deliver a mirror finish in just one step. Once you are done with removing the scratches and swirls, now it is time to protect your hard work. When applying a glaze, use a Blue Hex-Logic Finishing Pad and a DA Polisher. Using a DA Polisher will help you spread glazes, sealants, and waxes faster than ever. What speed setting should you use? When it comes to spreading glazes, sealants, and waxes, we recommend using speed setting 1. When using a polish or compound use speed setting 1 and then turn it up to speed setting 6 to work in the product. Now, that you have applied your glaze and you have removed it with a soft premium microfiber towel, it is time to apply a sealant with a Black Hex-Logic Finishing Pad. Finally, your ride is protected, but you want more of a shine, we recommend applying wax with the Red Ultra Light Finishing Pad.
