How To Prepare For A Lease Return? - Chemical Guys

In today's video, Joseph and Nick discuss the topic of what to expect when returning a leased vehicle. The lease on this Tesla is over, but now what? Returning a car from a lease is important to reducing fees associated with a lease contract. We explain how to prepare a leased car for a return and avoid dealer fees. Over the course of a lease, your car will acquire wear and tear that can bring down the value of the automobile. If you return your lease in bad condition, the dealer can charge you fees associated with reconditioning your vehicle. You can easily avoid any reconditioning fees by detailing the vehicle and cleaning up the interior and exterior yourself. This job can easily be done over a week. Enjoy the video, and learn how to completely detail a Tesla Model S back to showroom condition. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ➜ Foam Blaster 6 Foam Gun https://ift.tt/2gjkPc5 ➜ Citrus Wash & Gloss Shampoo https://ift.tt/2bc3xd8 ➜ Leather Quick Detailer https://ift.tt/2N9G6At ➜ Woolly Mammoth Drying Towel https://ift.tt/2xsRoua ➜ Blazin' Banana Spray Wax https://ift.tt/2IIXHkd •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Visit your local Detail Garage for your favorite products and helpful advise! ● https://ift.tt/2jS6ww4... ● Website: www.ChemicalGuys.com ● Subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=chemicalguys ● Subscribe to our newsletter: https://ift.tt/2vjCz9T ● Like Us on Facebook: https://ift.tt/2uJzRxo ● Follow us on Instagram: https://ift.tt/2vjwfPB

How to buy the best dishwasher

- Decide whether you want an integrated or freestanding dishwasher. This will depend on the type of kitchen you have. - Consider whether you'd like a full sized dishwasher (120 - 150 items) or a slimline (up to 100 items). - Think about what features are important to you. Many dishwashers come with delay timers, adjustable racks and fold-down prongs. Some now come with built in WiFi. - Compare the energy efficiency of different models; the most efficient cost less than £30 per year to run, while the least energy efficient could cost as much as £65. Art of Manliness Podcast #83: The Rise of Crossfit with JC Herz| The Art of Manliness

Originally published September 2014. In this episode I talk to writer J. C. Herz about her book, Learning to Breathe Fire: The Rise of CrossFit and the Primal Future of Fitness. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about CrossFit. I’ll admit that before I read Learning to Breathe Fire, I had just a vague idea of how CrossFit worked, and was honestly pretty skeptical of it. My only interaction with the program has been giving the CrossFitters (or “fire breathers” as they sometimes call themselves) at my gym the stink eye for taking all the barbells from the squat racks so they could do their hang cleans. So it was interesting to read a book that goes into the history, philosophy, and even anthropology of CrossFit, and why it has become so popular so quickly. While the book didn’t turn me into a full-on convert, it did really broaden my perspective of the program, and I even tried my first CrossFit workout after reading it. Show Highlights: What a typical CrossFit workout consists of The health benefits of CrossFit How and where CrossFit got started The libertarian ethos that runs throughout CrossFit and how that shaped its unique business model The role military and law enforcement officers played in popularizing CrossFit How CrossFit is in many ways a response to modernity’s luxurious landscape and social disconnection The connection between ancient ritualistic sacrifice and CrossFit (this part is particularly interesting — anthropology, Greek history, and modern sport rolled up into one) And much more! Seren vs Lakeland Crux - Toast challenge

From sausage rolls to samosas, the Seren toaster claims to be able to toast just about anything. But the question is: can it toast... well, just toast? In this week's episode we pitted it against the Crux Lakeland toaster, which is more modest in its claims, but still has extra wide slots and a bagel setting, enabling it to toast a relatively diverse range of baked goods. In this challenge we compared the two model's toasting skills at sliced bread, muffins and bagels. The Lakeland Crux was the clear winner, toasting each item quickly and evenly. The Seren left deep grooves in the bread and muffins and failed to toast consistently, leaving some bits burnt and some bits pale and soft. It was also very difficult to remove smaller items from the Seren without burning our fingers. We decided to give it one more chance with a few of the more outlandish food items it claims to toast - sausage rolls, samosas and fish fingers. Alas the sausage roll was cold in the middle, but the samosa and fish fingers were cooked through. However the difficulty in removing them from the toasting rack meant it failed to regain many points. This was of course just a fun challenge. When we test toasters in our independent labs, we make three rounds of toast in each toaster using fresh bread in controlled conditions, inspecting slices for any untoasted or overdone areas. We use the manufacturer’s recommended toasting level - if none are provided we'll try various settings until we get the closest to golden brown, to give each toaster the very best chance. Train companies misleading passengers over compensation rights

Passengers forced to pay extra costs when their train is delayed or cancelled are receiving misleading advice from rail companies, according to undercover research by Which? This comes despite recent changes to the UK rail industry’s terms and conditions which mean train companies should offer compensation for reasonable out-of-pocket expenses, or ‘consequential loss’, when they’re at fault in failing to provide services. How to claim train compensation: - You can claim compensation if your train is delayed or cancelled through the Delay Repay scheme. - This scheme kicks in when you’ve experienced a train delay or cancellation of at least 15 minutes or 30 minutes (depending on your train company) – you’ll be entitled to a full or partial refund for that journey. - You can make a claim regardless of whether you’re travelling on a return or single journey or whether you’re travelling with a season ticket. - Under the right circumstances you may also be able to recover for anything else you had to buy like train tickets, taxi fares or bus rides. Use our consequential loss tool to find out what you're eligible to claim for: https://ift.tt/2LHMeOG. Eileen Gray’s rare ‘Transat’ armchair

A highlight of our Design auction in New York on 20 June – this ‘Transat’ chair by renowned architect and furniture designer Eileen Gray has remained in the same private collection, unexhibited in public, for the last 25 years. It is believed that only a dozen examples of the ‘Transat’ were ever made. Gray conceived the chairs for E1027, the radical modern villa she designed with Jean Badovici. Through building the house, she was inspired to explore new materials and possibilities, developing a distinct change in her furniture design. The ‘Transat’ chairs perfectly exemplify this new spirit. Find out more: http://bit.ly/2JpVUww

How to spot and avoid scam websites

Don't click links that are in the body of an email or text; find websites the 'long way round' instead via google or a verified social media account. Create multiple email addresses for different purposes. Mark spam emails as 'spam' or 'junk' rather than deleting them. Check your URL carefully for spelling errors and font tricks. Never enter card details or passwords on websites that don't have a padlock and https in the toolbar. Check that the contact and copyright information looks legitimate.
