Tesco strawberries taste test challenge

Tesco premium vs standard strawberries - Which makes the perfect Wimbledon summer dessert? We blind taste tested Tescos Finest Strawberries and the supermarket standard variety fruit to find out whether our panel could tell the difference between the two. At £1 per 100 grams the premium punnet is the more expensive option, compared to the standard pack at 50p for the same amount. The verdict? Our taste testers were all able to correctly pick the supermarket premium strawberries over the standard range based on superior appearance, aroma, taste and texture.
