ASOS customers - watch out for threatening notification - Which?

Got the ASOS security alert? Don’t click the link Thousands of ASOS app users received an authentic push notification claiming hackers had compromised the company’s systems ASOS says it is investigating unauthorised activity involving third-party platforms used to communicate with customers. It says basic personal information, including names and contact details, may have been accessed, but it does not believe payment-card information or account passwords were affected The retailer says it has taken immediate action to restrict access to its notification platforms and that its website and app are operating as normal If you use ASOS, avoid clicking suspicious links and stay alert for follow-up scams, including fake emails, texts or calls pretending to offer help or compensation
