Best Car Wash Techniques and Tips - Detailing a Used Car - Chemical Guys

What's up guys?! In today's video, Jen is back to show you her "NEW" car and what it is going to take to restore a factory finish. With any detail it is recommended to start with a wash and this ride is no different. Beginning with the wheels, Jen tackles the task ahead of bringing out the shine of her car. With any detail it is recommended to begin with the dirtiest area and that is almost always the wheels. Brake dust, road debris and old dressing dull the finish of wheels and tires and can actually damage them permanently if left untreated. Using a combination of Diablo Wheel Gel and Sticky Citrus Gel, Jen safely cuts through the grime that is covering these wheels. Moving to the body, we decide to start fresh using Clean Slate! Old glaze, sealant and wax will hide the true condition of the paintwork but Clean Slate strips all of that without harming the paint. Once the vehicle has been rinsed it is ready to be dried.
