What is carer's allowance?

Carer’s allowance is a government benefit of £64.60 per week to help you out financially if you care for someone close to you. You can apply for carer's allowance on the GOV.UK website or by post. However, there are limits to how much you're allowed to earn or study and still be entitled to the benefit, so make sure you know everything you need to before applying.
