Google Home vs Amazon Echo (2nd generation) - Smart hub challenge

We put the Google Home smart home hub head-to-head with the Amazon Echo (2nd generation) to find out which is best at understanding international accents. The Google Home has a built-in voice-controlled helper called Google Assistant, while the Amazon Echo second-generation has one called Alexa. Both voice assistants can give information, answer questions and control smart gadgets, as well as play music. The verdict? It was very close but ultimately the Google Home performed better than the Amazon Echo when it came to understanding a range of commands from users from Germany, Singapore and Italy.
